Biden is Strongly Pro-Israel, Republican Attacks Ridiculous
McCain's hit squad are nattering nabobs of negativism -- they injure the long standing bi-partisan consensus on Israel for pure political gain.

The current makeup of the Supreme Court renders it the most conservative group of justices in living memory. Should this matter to the supporters of Hillary Clinton? You bet it should.
McCain has been tweaking his P.O.W. story, with some variation, for many years. For Democrats, critiquing its overuse is too little, too late.
McCain likes to say that Obama is willing to lose a war (in Iraq) to win a campaign. Interestingly, it appears that McCain is willing to start a new cold war to win a campaign.
By going back to this line of defense over and over again, McCain is on the verge of doing something that once seemed impossible: Turning his horrific Vietnam experience into a punchline.
In a night that was supposed to celebrate women and their achievements, why so many male speakers? Why did we get the bland white-toast Mark Warner and the anti-choice Bob Casey.
The talking heads doubted she'd do it. The Hillary haters doubted she would do it. The anti-Clintonites doubted she could do it. But boy did she do it.
Since the Obama campaign is telling no narrative at all about McCain, other than in every speech honoring his service, his lead in the polls will continue to deteriorate.
Maybe the Democrats, including Hillary's own most ardent supporters, will find winning health care reform a good enough reason to unite behind Obama.
McCain's absentminded elitist air would be one thing, but the real distinction is his philosophy. He believes the rich, like him, should stay rich -- too bad for the middle class, which is supporting that wealth.
Hillary made the case she needed to make to her supporters who were still sitting on the fence, and she did it perfectly, in a speech for the ages.
The worse scenario is McCain feels just fine and doesn't have to worry about walking into the Senate chamber ever again except to cheers and back-slaps -- when he gives the State of the Union.
Hillary Clinton was really quite marvelous on this, clearly HER night. She was powerful, elegant, witty, and devastating.
Hillary touched all of the right notes that were necessary to put to rest the incessant bellowing of the chattering classes inside the corporate media about how "disunited" the Democrats are.
Once again, Hillary helped rescue another guy's political career: In this case, Barack Obama's, who badly needed her ringing, feminist, endorsement at the Democrat's gathering in Denver.
McKinnon left the McCain campaign in June after saying he would "not be the tip of the spear" attacking Obama in an advertising campaign.

I love, love love Joe Biden. Although he is often quite verbose, he is down to earth, in touch, has common sense, and is not afraid to tell it like it is.
Sure, but how do we know when he's telling it like it is?
When he tells Iowa their schools are better because they have fewer black students?
When he mocks the immigration of Indian nationals to his state?
When he states that BO is not qualified to be president?
When he reaffirms his statement that BO is not qualified to be president?
Please, tell us all.... when is he "in touch" and "telling it like it is"???
Well said! Here's what gets me - A Navy Veteran: As a POW Veteran McCain is entitled to every penny, but as a Republican he needs to live up to their motto of not accepting handouts from the government. He should be donating the money to homeless veterans.
H illary, Joe & Bill are BEST at these quick-witted quips. I love O but he just can't do it like they can. I don't imagine O grew up learning to play the dozens. if he did, he'd get these clever soundbites done.
The insulting title of this article aside, here is one reason Obama needs an experienced foreign policy guy.
Obama, Aug. 25, 2008, speaking on what he would do about Iran:
"step up diplomatic pressure," "make sure we are tightening the screws diplomatically," "mobilize world community..."
What George Bush has done about Iran:
At the urging of the Bush administration, the UN Security Council has issued three sanctions against Iran;
With support from the US, diplomats from teh European Union have been pressuring Iran for years.
Come on, Barry, offer up some "change."
Did you know McCain was a POW?
All Obama has to do is put an end to the tragically flawed redpublican policies including Iraq, the economy, diplomacy, veteran affairs, energy, corporate greed and FEMA! And that's just a partial list.
You come on this board "blustering" and demanding change? In case you haven't noticed, we have adopted an Obama backed withdrawal timeline so fought against by Bush, the republicans and people like you.
The times they are a changing....I suggest you re-evaluate your political thoughts and join us here in the real 21st century.
By the way, did you know McCain was a POW?
McCain needs to release his military records. He also needs to explain why his voting record is not good when it comes to taking care of vets.
We have homelesss Iraqi and Afghanistani vets. They don't have a table to sit at but McCain doesn't speak of them or vote for GI Bills to help them. He should be ashamed.
