Revenge of the Wives
Both Christie Brinkley and DIna Matos McGreevey took their marital grievances to the most public forum possible. Brinkley even requested her divorce hearing be made public.

If you thought the Republican primary field was a bit of a joke, wait until you get a closer look at the front runners for the vice presidential slot.
Last week a mix of water and sanitation experts gathered for World Water Week in Stockholm, Sweden to mull over the world's biggest public health crisis. The problem is that not enough people paid attention.
The Florida GOP this year are like puppies on valium. They're so convinced they've lost it's seeming like a self-fulfilling prophecy. Even Roger Stone thinks McCain will lose Florida.
I've seen SNL have incredible political influence in a good way, and a bad way. It's had its left-wing writers like Al Franken and its right-wing writers like Jim Downey.
Back in 2004, Michelle Malkin and wingnut "media" outlet Newsmax (along with many others of her ilk), alleged ACORN "voter fraud" in Ohio, just days before the Presidential election.
The GOP has this rule about anyone who aspires to national elected office. Any serious question about a candidate's sexual orientation is an instant disqualifier.
I am told that Gore opposes atomic energy. But if so, his public silence -- and lack of action -- is deafening. If he really wants to have a lasting impact, he must join us in publicly opposing nuclear power.
A military commander tested in wartime, a Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, a Secretary of State, a Vice President Powell would strengthen Obama's candidacy more deeply and more consummately than any other American.
The scheme to move up the Florida primary is just the latest episode in the ongoing saga of this state's hapless Dems since they lost both executive and legislative branches back in the 1990s.
Forcing employers to allow guns at work? This is an idea only the gun lobby could like. Yet it is one they are trying to push into every state and w...
With Charlie Crist now a serious VP candidate for McCain, all those old rumors that the longtime bachelor may be gay have gained new currency -- along with reports about his dating several women.
Today, Florida is releasing its plan of action to address climate change, and the news is good and big.
Hillary has expanded her base from older white women to older white women and Republicans planning to vote for McCain in November. Now that's a winning coalition!
The vice presidency is a poor pulpit for a charismatic candidate, accustomed to cheering crowds. When a running mate makes major news, it's because the would-be veep has screwed up.
Attention is now focused on VP choices. While the Democratic selection is more exciting for obvious reasons, the Republican selection is, for me, equally as interesting.

We gays will be confronting every religion, at every opportunity.
The days when religion was "off limits" are over.
You can believe in whatever you want - just keep it to yourself. Our love is stronger than your fear.
Pink T-Shirts & BEARDS would be more appropriate.
I bet the Pre-nup has a 'Deena McGreevy' Clause in it.
I'm not familiar with with Crist, but from what I've looked up, he seems to be a bit of an opportunist --changing his position on gay adoption and marriage after he licks his finger to test the current.
I AM glad a Florida judge overturned the ban on gay adoptions...I would rather see THAT celebrated than pink T-shirts loitering outside a church, although I think they plan to get into the act and throw rice, etc. He really should just invite them all in.
Still, I get so incensed when I hear people say this "turns them off" supporting gay marriage, as if it hinged on a few pink T-shirts in Florida. Sorry, but I never questioned principles of fairness as it applied to "heterosexuals" each time I read or hear about rapes, murders, divorce, spousal and child abuse. It seems to take very little effort for some to recoil back into their bigotry. What's up with addressing the group and Florida with "...your..." and "...you people..."? I'VE never been to Florida, but If I were from there, I guess I'd have a right to be pissed, too.
"the group IN Florida..."
I wish the Governor much happiness...
Yes, by all means they should because it will make them look as foolish as they are...
just as bad as that other nutcase who goes around and protests at Funerals of our boys who
served in Iraq and Afghanistan....
And the rest of us, who are not gay and who might think that civil unions are probably tolerable, will begin to think less and less of these folks who have no sense of decency...
