It's not just that their parents are rich, famous and gave them names not found in most baby naming books. Here's more evidence that they're not mere mortals.

The Obama daughters have already generated an outstanding amount of media interest through their desire for a puppy and their Huxtable-like cuteness.

Last week a mix of water and sanitation experts gathered for World Water Week in Stockholm, Sweden to mull over the world's biggest public health crisis. The problem is that not enough people paid attention.

Stars are responsible for some amazingly creative baby names: rediscovering old gems, honoring family members or artistic heroes, exploring far corners of the earth in search of original choices.

The fact is that us women think it's so hot to be pregnant today that an actress or other performer is even more A-list and cover-worthy if she happens to be sporting a bump.

Sperm bank customers pretend that what they're buying is a "gamete," which came from the gamete factory, not from a living man whose traits and looks they may find duplicated in their child.

My daughter is 22 months old, nearly two, and she still gets her milk bottle -- just like Suri Cruise, the oft-photographed daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Does that make me a bad mother? According to the celebrity weeklies, yes.

I was staring at the "biography" shelf in my home library when I realized: two people from these books went out on a date.

If I was a custody judge, charged with picking the best home for a baby, I'd like to say I'd pick the loving one. I had a ridiculously loving, happy childhood, and I feel the effects of that every day.
Colleen Perry, 11.07.2008
It dawned on me: this is why celebrities have trouble giving up "celebrity." They're so accustomed to someone hanging on their every word; ready to fulfill every wish and desire.

Not only are we expected to judge a celebrity's toddler's style, but we are asked to apply the superlative "better" to a person who probably doesn't even know what a "style" is.

she did good, not totally where she was but has come far in less then a year.
On any given day, go to any high school in this country and there you will find many girls with better singing voices and dance moves than Britney. I don't understand how she has been able to engineer this massive comeback. I have to give it up to her handlers. - Her family, managers, etc. They couldn't let their cash cow go down.
Step step point, step step pose, step step turn, step step wiggle. Walk to other side of stage and repeat. With all of that fantastic choreography, who has time to actually sing?
If she's going to lip sync the whole thing, how can she not muster up the energy to actually do some decent choreography?? The dance moves for that performance were not even difficult, yet she practically slept walk through them.
Girl does not care at all anymore. It's kind of sad. I think her family is forcing her to be the cash cow.
I love Britney and I'm excited for her!
