Thank you for all of your great suggestions for tonight's Rachel Maddow show, which I'll be guest hosting. They've been incredible and, as you can see from tonight's lineup, we've listened: Google CEO Eric Schmidt will join me to discuss the ways Obama can harness the Internet to make his administration more effective. Bill Maher will discuss the day's top stories. Newark mayor Cory Booker will weigh in on the impact the economic crisis is having on America's inner cities. And FiveThirtyEight.com's Nate Silver will crunch the latest numbers in the still-pending Senate races. Click here for some real time video of me behind-the-scenes at the show -- and be sure to tune in tonight at 9 pm on MSNBC.

Just minutes after "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough dropped an F-bomb live on the air, MSNBC announced that it was re-launching the show to capitalize on its star's salty vocabulary.

Just off their mostly news-free coverage of the 2008 presidential campaign, the major news networks have directed their correspondents to refrain from traditional news and stick to glitz.

Amazingly, with all the frenetic emotion of the 2000 election nothing was done -- to abolish our outmoded and increasingly stupid Electoral College.

Scarborough epitomized every boorish, condescending male that ever tried to diminish a woman... whether it be a family member, a co-worker, or a presidential candidate.

If we don't like the Second Amendment, then we should agitate to get rid of it in the methods the Founders prescribed. But we might want to think twice.

Created by veterans, for veterans, this innovative media campaign is like nothing America has ever seen, and it will finally turn the page on how veterans were treated in America after Vietnam.

Change is coming no thanks to many in the media, who, perhaps looking at the gloomy economic forecasts, are more concerned at being downsized themselves.

It looks like MSNBC caved into McCain's complaints, which will anger liberals. David Gregory? FOX news didn't get to be the number-one cable news network by being dull and balanced.
Ari Emanuel, 08.26.2008
I was watching MSNBC and CNN -- but it felt like ESPN. I could not believe the convention coverage: they were analyzing things as if it were college sports.

I have sometimes become uncomfortable with Christian friends who are burning with indignation about some social issue or current event.

With the country sliding by virtually every measure, the Bushes are now resorting to the most cynical and patronizing misdirection play at their disposal.

Last week a mix of water and sanitation experts gathered for World Water Week in Stockholm, Sweden to mull over the world's biggest public health crisis. The problem is that not enough people paid attention.

Of all the presidential contenders lined up on the stage in last year's AFL-CIO Chicago debate, Biden was the only one who had voted for the 2005 bill.

The only thing "American Morning" has going for it is that it has attractive female anchors like Fox News. As for "Morning Joe," they try so hard to be nonpartisan and neutral that they end up being inaccurate and sometimes ridiculous. STOP TRYING SO HARD TO APPEAL TO EVERYBODY!
this could as be due to the fact that joe "the bully" has not been in a debate with Racheal Maddow in some time......he has REALLY been dodging that buttwhipping and he is a smart man for it.....
I watch Mo Joe for the guests. Joe is a bully, and Mika just repeats "as some would say" because she can't say, or take a stand on anything. Willy tries to be entertaining about nothing. I wish we could get a great team in there with the same guests. Now that would be a show.
