We are eager to work with the new administration. With that being said, we also stand ready to act to hold the new administration accountable if it fails to enforce laws protecting the environment.
"People who say the U.S. doesn't innovate are woefully out of touch with Detroit's standing in this business."
We still do not have a final Presidential result in the state of Missouri, 14 days after the election. As was shown time and again this election, our nation's voting systems are badly broken.
Lucky and I checked out the Fourth Annual Cool vs. Cruel ceremony honoring fur friendly designers and retailers who exude compassion in fashion.
Obama made clear that he would not remain passive in the face of tactics such as the Willie Horton ad that undermined the 1988 campaign of Dukakis or the Swift Boat attacks against Kerry.
Alaskans may actually welcome secession and a few more like-minded friends with whom to celebrate it.
Simply put, Sarah Palin represents what we admire most in our politicians. Folksy and winking? Check. But even more impressive? She is, to coin a term, untakedownable.
Post-election politics have begun to resemble an episode of The Hills lately, with Obama (obviously Lauren Conrad) currently vetting best frenemy Hillary Clinton for Secretary of State.
When did you realize that Barack was The One? Provide exact month, day, and year of your enlightenment, and the names of at least two (2) witnesses.
With the post-election analysis season almost over, it's worth taking one final look at some of the characters who ensured President-elect Obama would make it to the White House.
In the end, Barack Obama's win may have handed John McCain the keys he needed, if not necessarily wanted.
I don't know if John McCain's memory is starting to go and 2000-2002 is just a bit fuzzy, if he got so used to pissing away his principles for the good of the party that by now it's just reflexive.
On both values and issues, moderates line up with liberals to form a strong majority that isolates conservatives. Conservatives have had their day. This is a center-left, not a center-right nation.
Obama only won by six points in the popular vote, they say. Shouldn't it have been much bigger? Sure he won, but it's not like Obama got a rousing endorsement.
Sen. Clinton is obviously qualified and I think America would love to see a new government that wasn't simply made-up of cronies but of people with differing viewpoints who come together for the good of the country.

JTP is my idol.
I must shave my head and demonize all who have a "D" tatooed on thier forehead.
So sorry Karel. I miss you on KGO. I didn't know why you were off the air until I heard Ronn Owens defending you. Even seeing your comment in writing I understood you to mean you wanted the entire "Joe the Plumber" discussion dead. I, and many others, were sick of it as well. In no way did we believe you wanted an actual person dead. I will email KGO and let them know how much we miss you. Stay well and know you have many on your side!
Joe the so-called Plumber is/was a gimmick and plant to further bamboozle the far right base. Palin was still invoking him at the Governor's Conference last week. I wish they'd all go away.
I'm so sorry. This is a witch hunt. The so-called 'coverage' is trying to liken this to the Imus thing (showing that particular bloggers racism incidentally) I hope the decision is reversed. I can't believe KGO abandonned you like this. YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG! YOU HAVE NOTHING TO APOLOGIZE FOR. Oh man. Is there any kind of effort to reinstate you? This is awful. I'm so sorry.
Something tells me you would not be so sympathetic were this a pundit for a political party you oppose. I'm not condemning the guy because I never heard the outburst nor am I familiar with the show, so I don't know his style or format. But based upon the quote of what was actually said in the above article, I would say this was worse than anything Imus said. Imus made his statement while on the air and probably thought he was being funny and was fired for it. This guy had what he thought was a private remark aired publicly, but one in which he swore in five times and stated he wished for someone's death, someone he did not agree with politically. Did he mean it? I don't think so, but I hardly think you can categorize it as a "witch hunt" under the circumstances. Be of good cheer, Imus only had to wait 6 months to get a new show.
I'm so sorry. This is a witch hunt.
